Destination Weddings
Santorini, Tuscany, the Algarve, further afield if that's the dream. I plan the couple's trip and coordinate travel for the guests coming with them, so you're not doing two jobs at once.
The destination wedding with forty guests and a hundred questions. The hen do where nobody can agree on Ibiza or Lisbon. The uni reunion that's been "we should really do this" for six years running. The lads' trip, the girls' trip, the big milestone birthday nobody wants to organise. I plan them, book them, chase the deposits, and hold the whole thing together while you enjoy being one of the group instead of the one running it.

Group trips are not one thing. A hen weekend for eight and a family reunion for forty need completely different planning. These are the ones I get asked for most.
Santorini, Tuscany, the Algarve, further afield if that's the dream. I plan the couple's trip and coordinate travel for the guests coming with them, so you're not doing two jobs at once.
You're not the couple - you're the twenty-odd guests trying to get to their wedding without booking twenty different flights. I set up one point of contact and one set of dates everyone travels on.
Ibiza, Marbella, Lisbon, Prague, Budapest - wherever the group actually wants to go, not just wherever's cheapest on a comparison site. I book the villa or hotel block, sort activities, and deal with the person who drops out three weeks before.
The 30th, the 40th, the 50th - the one somebody's been threatening to throw a proper trip for since forever. I plan the destination and the activities, and I'm the one who chases the group for payment, not you.
School friends, university housemates, an extended family that hasn't been in the same place since a wedding a decade ago. I find somewhere that works for the group's ages and budgets, and handle the bit where twelve people all need to agree on a date.
Villas, big apartments, boutique hotels that can hold a group without splitting everyone across three different buildings. Six friends or twenty, I find somewhere that actually fits - and works out cheaper per head than everyone booking separately.
Someone always ends up running the group chat, chasing deposits, and fielding "can we get a discount if I bring my sister" messages. It doesn't have to be you.
You send me the idea - the group size, roughly who's coming, the kind of trip, the sort of budget. I come back with two or three real options and actual prices.
You pick one. From there:
The bit organisers notice most is not being the one everyone messages at 11pm asking where the villa is, or whether they've paid yet. That's my job now.
Group trips have moving parts a couple's holiday doesn't.
Groups are harder to organise than they sound. Three things help.
A note on destination weddings specifically: the legal admin - residency requirements, document deadlines, sometimes a civil ceremony at home before the "real" one abroad - needs sorting months ahead of the trip, not weeks. I'll tell you exactly what's needed and by when.
Every group trip I book is covered, whatever the size.
If a supplier collapses or a major disruption hits, your money - and your group's money - is protected. My ABTA number is P7384.
The ones I hear most often, answered plainly.
No. Suppliers pay me commission. The price is the same as booking direct, and you get the planning, the protection and someone to chase the group for you.
Yes. I can set the booking up so individuals pay their own deposit and balance directly, or so one person covers it and collects from the group. Tell me which suits you and I'll set it up that way.
It happens on almost every group trip. I'll tell you honestly what can flex and what can't for your specific supplier and destination, and handle any changes to the booking.
Yes. I'll talk you through the residency requirements and paperwork for your chosen destination, and the timeline you need to work to. Some couples do the legal ceremony at home and the symbolic one abroad - I can explain the trade-offs.
Mainly travel - flights, accommodation, transfers and logistics for the group. For weddings I'll happily point you towards trusted local wedding planners or venues where I have them, but the ceremony and reception itself usually sits with a specialist on the ground.
For destination weddings: nine to twelve months, sometimes longer for popular venues. For hen and stag trips or reunions: three to six months gives the best choice. Milestone birthdays somewhere popular in peak season: book as early as you can.
No. I'm based in South Wales but plan group trips for clients across the UK. Most of the organising happens by phone, email or video call - useful when your group's scattered across the country anyway.
No fixed limit either way. I've planned trips for six close friends and reunions well over thirty. If a supplier has a minimum or maximum for a specific booking, I'll flag it early.
Tell me roughly how many of you, where you're thinking, and what the occasion is. I'll come back with two or three options and real prices - then you can just forward it to the group.
